World spam hotspots live on Google Maps

spam-map-google

Want to know where spam is originating from? A service from Google allows you to do just that and see where spam originates. A Google Maps mashup each red dot on the Spam Map shows where spam messages are originating in real time. Saturated areas showing as bright red, show extremely high concentrations of malicious IPs.

The map is part of the “Postini Threat Identification Network” which promises that it identifies malicious IPs in real time and blocks them before they can reach your network. A premium service from Google.
